Webflow Pricing Explained (Including 2024 Add-On Updates)

Between Site Plans, Workspace Plans, Freelancer & Agency Plans, and Localization and Bandwidth Add-Ons, Webflow’s pricing has a lot of variables that can be confusing for beginners. In this article, we’ll walk through each of Webflow’s plans and the variables that can affect their cost.

Webflow Site Plans vs Workspace Plans

The most commonly confused Webflow plans are Site Plans and Workspace Plans. In short, Site Plans are added to a specific project in Webflow in order to connect to a custom domain and push the site live. Workspace Plans are optional upgrades to the account that holds your Webflow project. If you only have one Webflow site, you generally will only need a Site Plan and can use the free Workspace Plan.

Site Plans

Site Plans are Webflow’s term for hosting. A Site Plan is added to an individual site in order to connect it to a custom domain and push it live. General Site Plans range from $14/month to $49/month, depending on what features you need.

When choosing a Site Plan, it’s generally a safe bet to choose the cheapest plan that you are able to choose in the Project Settings. If you hit one of the limitations on your Site Plan, you can always upgrade later.

Ecommerce Site Plans

Ecommerce Site Plans have separate pricing, ranging from $29/month to $235/month. The Standard Ecommerce plan also includes a 2% transaction fee, while the Plus and Advanced Plans have no transaction fees.

Localization

In 2023, Webflow launched Localization as an optional add-on to any Site Plan. Localization add-ons range from $9 - $35 per locale per month and support up to 5 locales. If you need more than 5 locales, you’ll need to upgrade to an Enterprise Site Plan.

Bandwidth Add-Ons

Webflow’s Site Plans come with 10GB to 100GB of bandwidth based on the plan level. If you need more than 100GB of bandwidth, you will need to be on the Business Plan, then you are able to purchase bandwidth add-ons starting at $20/month when billed annually.

CMS Item Add-Ons

Prior to the pricing changes in 2024, Webflow sites could not have over 10,000 CMS items without upgrading to an Enterprise Plan. Users on the Business Plan can now purchase additional CMS items starting at $25/month when billed annually.

Enterprise

For large sites or teams that need advanced collaboration and security features, Webflow’s Enterprise offering may be the best fit. Webflow’s Enterprise pricing is not posted publicly on their website, but you can contact the sales team through the Webflow Enterprise page.

Transferring a Site Plan

Unfortunately, you are not able to transfer a project with a Site Plan between workspaces. To transfer a project with a Site Plan, you will need to cancel the existing plan, transfer the project, then add a new Site Plan in the new Workspace. To do this with minimal downtime, follow the process outlined in our guide to transferring a Webflow site.

Workspace Plans

In-house Team Plans

While many in-house teams can get away with a free Workspace Plan, upgrading to the Core or Growth Plan unlocks more advanced collaboration features that can be useful for larger teams, as well as reduced limits on projects without Site Plans in your workspace. These plans range from $19 to $60 per month per seat.

Freelancer & Agency Plans

As a freelancer or agency working with clients in Webflow, you’ll need to be invited to your client’s workspace in order to work on their site. By signing up for a Freelancer or Agency Workspace Plan, clients can invite you as a guest to their workspace for free by following the instructions in this video. These plans range from $16/month to $42/month.

Student & Educator Discounts

Webflow offers two separate deals for students and educators. Students can apply to receive a free annual CMS Site Plan. Educators can get access to a free workspace account for teaching Webflow. Both deals are available on Webflow’s classroom page.
